My airplane

I got the airplane painted in March 2002.  This is the best shot I have, so far, and was taken in front of the Hagerstown Aviation Services hangar.  Yes, that's me.

Special thanks to Ed Levine for this image.

In August 2002, a heavy thunderstorm hit the Manassas, Va., airport where I base.  It trashed several airplanes and dumped damaging hail on many more, mine included.

Above, the airplane is pictured after emerging from the paint shop for the second time in a year after the hail damage was repaired.  Can you tell which parts are yet to be installed?

Special thanks to Tracey Potter for this image.

I guess I fly a lot. Fast, sometimes...

Some airframe ice I picked up over West Virginia in March 2001.  Nasty stuff.  Don't try this at home.
